Restaurants, Bars & Cafés

A lot of good independent places around here have no website at all, just a Facebook page. Not because they don't want one, because nobody could justify what one costs. We fixed the price, not the quality.

Walk down any main street near us and check who has a real website. Plenty of the best kitchens in the area are running on a Facebook page and a photographed menu. That isn't neglect. Restaurant margins are thin enough that a $3,000 agency quote for a website is an easy no, and the choice on offer has been an expensive site or nothing at all. We think that's a bad choice, so we built a third one: a real, fast, mobile-first site with your menu and your hours, from $699. And because we already do the TVs, the Wi-Fi and the wiring for a living, we can keep the room running too.

The reality

What is actually getting in the way

The website quote was never realistic

A few thousand dollars for a website is genuinely hard to justify against food cost, labor and rent. So it doesn't get done, and the Facebook page becomes the website by default.

People find you on Google, not Facebook

A social page can't be searched properly, doesn't show reliable hours, and doesn't own your name. If somebody searches your kind of food near them and you aren't there, that table went somewhere else.

Your menu is a photo nobody can read

A photographed or PDF menu is unreadable on a phone, invisible to search engines, and out of date the moment you change a price. Menus change; your website should be something you can change too.

One network doing three jobs

Card payments, guest Wi-Fi and streaming TVs sharing one connection is how a card reader goes down at 7pm on a Friday. Guests should never be on the same network as your point of sale.

How we help

What we do for restaurants and bars

A website you actually own, from $699

A fast, mobile-first site with your real menu, hours, location and a way to reach you, built in days and easy to change when the menu does. Yours to keep, on your own domain, not rented from a platform.

Get found locally

Google Business Profile set up properly, hours and address consistent everywhere, and the local search basics done, so people looking for somewhere to eat nearby actually find you.

Guest Wi-Fi kept separate from payments

Business-grade Wi-Fi with your point of sale on its own network and guests on theirs. See the note below: this is the one we care most about.

TVs, screens and sports-bar setups

Multiple displays mounted, wired and set up to the right sources, with control simple enough that whoever's on shift can run it. The same work we do in home theaters, at bar scale.

Sound that works room by room

Music and game audio configured so it's right in each area rather than blasting one corner, without somebody rewiring it every night.

Cabling and network that survives service

Proper wiring to the registers, the office and the access points, terminated and labeled, so nothing depends on a cable taped under the bar.

Your card reader should not be on the guest Wi-Fi

It's the most common thing we see in a small venue, and the easiest to fix. Guests sharing a network with your point of sale is both a reliability problem, one phone streaming can slow your payments, and a security one: card systems are supposed to sit on their own segment, and your payment provider likely expects it. We separate them properly. We're not a compliance authority and we don't sell you a certificate; we set the network up the way it should have been.
