Start with what breaks

If the same thing goes wrong twice, it is not bad luck, it is a system with no owner. Write down what failed, when, and what it cost you in time. Two weeks of that list tells you more than any audit we could sell you.

The two that usually matter

• Backups you have actually restored from. An untested backup is a hope, not a plan.
• Separating your card payments from guest Wi-Fi. One phone streaming should never be able to slow down a sale.

Neither is expensive. Both get skipped because they are invisible until the day they are not.
